PROJECT DETAILS
We CU! Mentorship Program at Chapman University is a program that is designed to empower students to explore their varying identities and life experiences through mentoring relationships with peers, staff, or faculty.
While interviewing incoming college students, I learned how hard it is for students to meet other students and mentors of similar interests, backgrounds, and identities.
Our solution was to create a speaker event called WeCU Talks that where speakers of different industries, backgrounds, and identities can come talk and inspire students.
The brand identity implements typography that is breaking the grid, geometric shapes, and a shape based logo that was made out of physical paper before being digitized. The idea is to push this narrative of students taking up space and celebrating people of different identities and backgrounds.
